Why Paardekraal Trusts Tech Installations
- Mining-town fix: We deep-clean mine dust from LNBs & replace corroded white RG6 – common in 1960s-70s facebrick homes.
- Wind-proof mounts: Strong Highveld wind? We use heavy-duty brackets & rawl bolts to stop dish movement.
- Tree-line specialist: Large Paardekraal trees blocking 68.5E – we re-site with elevated poles or wall mounts for clear LOS.
- Accredited + tested: Every install locked on Promax HD Ranger+ at MER >12dB, 12-month warranty slip handed over.
- Communal systems pro: Complex & townhouse communal repairs in town – SCD2 balancing, heartbeat issues, no signal in one unit.
Why Choose DSTV Installers in Paardekraal?
Paardekraal is an established area in Krugersdorp Central, just off Krugersdorp and Breaunanda, with real mining town history. Most homes are 1960s-70s facebrick houses that still run the original thin white RG6 – now corroded, UV-cracked and waterlogged. Add fine mine dust that gets into LNB feedhorns causing SCD2 failure, strong Highveld wind that moves light dishes and loosens brackets, and large established trees blocking line-of-sight to 68.5E, and you get the classic Paardekraal E48-32 / E48-50 faults. Plus many blocks use communal systems in town where one bad splitter kills six units. We don’t just point a dish – we fix the Paardekraal-specific root cause.

Paardekraal DSTV FAQ – Local Issues
Why do Paardekraal homes get E48-32 so often?
Three reasons: old white RG6 corrodes in facebrick damp, mine dust blocks LNB feedhorn killing SCD, and Highveld wind shifts light dishes. We test all three on arrival with Promax.
Can you fix signal blocked by large trees?
Yes. Paardekraal’s large trees grow into 68.5E lineACCREDITED DSTV INSTALLER IN PAARDEKRAAL | SAME-DAY SERVICE • 073 442 7665. We raise dish on 1.2-2.4m pole, use wall mount above roof line or trim advisory. We confirm LOS before drilling.
Mine dust got in my LNB – clean or replace?
Replace. Dust pits feedhorn lens causing high MER drop. We fit filtered SCD2 Smart LNB with rubber dust cap + tape seal. Same-day from our Krugersdorp van.
My house is 1960s facebrick with white cable – need full rewire?
Usually yes for long runs. White RG6 is single shielded and UV failed in Paardekraal. We run black quad-shield, new F-connectors, silicone sealed entry – stops future failure.
Do you service communal systems in Paardekraal town complexes?
Yes, communal DSTV is big in central Paardekraal. We repair multiswitches, fibre eyes, power supplies, and SCD2 balancing where one flat has no signal.
Wind moved my dish – will it move again?
Not with our fix. We replace light L-brackets with heavy-duty 76mm T-brackets, use 10mm rawl bolts into brick (not mortar) and torque 45Nm. Rated for Highveld gusts.
How fast can you come to Paardekraal?
Same-day in most of Krugersdorp Central. We’re based near Breaunanda/Bergsig – Paardekraal is under 15 min. Call 073 442 7665 before 4pm for today.
Do you give warranty and signal proof?
