LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Local DSTV Experts — Right Here in Andeon AH
Andeon AH isn’t a townhouse complex — it’s smallholdings, open terrain, Highveld wind gusts and long cable runs from boundary wall to house. Standard 60cm dishes flex and rusted 2m poles lean. We see it daily: loose poles after wind, UV-cracked coax running 30m+ across the yard, water in F-connectors, and signal dropping from 80% to 0% with a gust.
Our team is based 2 mins away in Pretoria West — not in Johannesburg. That means we’re in Andeon AH for real call-outs, with a bakkie stocked for the suburb: SANS-approved 80cm high-gain DSTV dishes (not the under-spec 60cm), Smart LNBs pre-tested for long runs, 3m x 48mm galvanised poles with concrete bases, heavy-duty 38mm wall brackets, SANS foam-filled coax in conduit, and waterproof compression F-cons. We trench or use conduit where needed, bond for lightning, and send signal photos on WhatsApp before we leave.

Common DSTV Issues in Andeon AH
Every suburb has its own DSTV character. Here are the issues we see most often in Andeon AH plots — and how we fix them on site.
💨
Windy Open Terrain Signal Drop
70% of Andeon AH calls are wind-related — 60cm dishes wobble, 2m poles lean, LNB skew drifts. We install 80cm high-gain dishes on 3m x 48mm poles with concrete bases and realign to 90%+ on HD meter. Guy wires where needed.
✔ Fixed same-day in Andeon AH
📏
Long Coax Runs & Voltage Drop
Andeon AH plots need 20-40m+ runs from pole at fence to house. Old RG6 copper-clad steel drops voltage to LNB and invites water. We replace with SANS foam-filled coax in UV conduit, waterproof F-cons, proper earthing and Smart LNB balancing.
✔ Fixed same-day in Andeon AH
🏗️
Leaning Poles & Failed Concrete Bases
Smallholding installs with no foundation lean after rain and Highveld storms. We excavate, re-pour concrete base, use 3m galvanised pole with bracing, align with digital meter and protect coax entry. Photos shared on WhatsApp before/after.
✔ Fixed same-day in Andeon AH

DSTV FAQ — Andeon AH
Real questions from Andeon AH smallholders. Flat rates, no call-out surprises.
Tip for plots: Andeon AH smallholdings need 3m pole + concrete base approval and clear line-of-sight. Send us your plot number, gate code and a photo of current pole on WhatsApp and we arrive with the right gear — we’ve done 40+ plots in Pretoria West.
My Andeon AH decoder shows E48 — can you fix it today? ▼
Yes. E48-32 in Andeon AH is almost always wind-shifted dish, failed 3m pole base, or water in long-run coax after rain. We carry 80cm dishes, 3m galvanised poles, concrete, SANS coax and Smart LNBs. We realign on digital meter to 90%+ and send you signal photos. Flat rate quoted on WhatsApp before arrival — no extra for plots.
Can you fix DSTV signal loss in Andeon AH after wind? ▼
100%. Open terrain in Andeon AH catches Highveld gusts. We don’t just tweak — we replace under-spec 60cm with 80cm high-gain, fit 3m pole with proper concrete base, tension/bracing if needed, waterproof all F-cons, replace UV-damaged long coax in conduit and earth bond. That’s why our lock holds above 90% even when it’s windy.
Do you do 3m pole installations with concrete bases in Andeon AH? ▼
That’s our standard for Andeon AH. No wall plugs on wendy houses. We use 48mm galvanised 3m pole, 600mm concrete footing, heavy-duty brackets, SANS coax with drip loops, and waterproofing. Ideal for long runs from boundary fence to main house, cottages and flatlets. Photos of base included.
What guarantee do you offer in Andeon AH? ▼
12-month workmanship warranty on our dish, pole base, alignment and coax joints. If your Andeon AH signal drops below 85% due to our install within 12 months and it’s not storm damage or third-party tampering, we return same-day. We use only SANS 10142 compliant coax, DSTV-approved LNBs and galvanised hardware for windy plots — flat rate quoted on WhatsApp.
How do I book a DSTV technician for Andeon AH? ▼
WhatsApp us on 073 442 7665 with your plot address, gate access code and issue (E48, no signal after wind, new install, extra point to cottage). We quote flat rate on WhatsApp, confirm 2hr slot and arrive from Pretoria West base in 2 mins. 7 days a week, same-day for Andeon AH smallholdings.
