Local DSTV Experts — Right Here in Glen Marais
Glen Marais is Kempton Park’s MOST sought-after suburb — upmarket freestanding homes, guarded estates, sectional-titles and well-known retirement villages. Strict HOAs, body-corporate roof rules, weekend drilling bans and zero-damage policies mean Johannesburg call centres send you in circles. We work here daily and know every estate manager’s process.
Our team is based 3 mins away in Kempton Park Central, not in Johannesburg. That means we’re in Glen Marais for real call-outs, with a bakkie stocked for the suburb: 80cm high-gain DSTV-approved dishes (not the undersized 60cm that fails in Highveld wind), SANS-approved foam-filled coax, Smart LNBs pre-tested for Extra View and complex splitters, 3m pole mounts for jacaranda line-of-sight clearance, heavy-duty 38mm galvanised brackets, and non-penetrating mounts for complexes and retirement villages that ban drilling. We handle WhatsApp HOA group approval so you don’t have to chase the estate manager.

Every suburb has its own DSTV character. Here are the issues we see most often in Glen Marais — and how we fix them on site.
Mature Tree Signal Block
Glen Marais upmarket stands have 25-30 year old jacaranda & oak trees blocking Intelsat 20 line-of-sight. 70% of Glen Marais calls are tree-block. We use 3m pole mounts, non-penetrating mounts for estates, and high-gain LNBs to clear 68.5°E.

Old Rusty Brackets & 60cm Dishes
Many Glen Marais homes still have original 60cm dishes rusted and shifted by Highveld airport wind. Signal drops below 50%. We replace with SANS 1010 docs, new 80cm high-gain, 38mm galvanised wall brackets, SANS foam-filled coax for Highveld storms.
