Local DSTV Experts — Right Here in Birchleigh
Birchleigh is one of the largest Kempton suburbs — face-brick homes with big gardens, established 20-30 year old trees that have grown straight into Intelsat 20 line-of-sight, and long coax runs from the street wall to the back lounge. We see it daily: 60cm dishes hidden behind oak and plane trees, white RG6 from the 90s cracking in the Highveld sun, 35-50m coax losing 3-4dB before it even reaches the Explora, and rusted L-brackets that shift every winter wind. It’s not Midrand — it’s proper Kempton Park character.
Our team is based 5 mins away in Kempton Park Central, not in Johannesburg. That means we’re in Birchleigh for real call-outs, with a bakkie stocked for the suburb: 80cm high-gain DSTV-approved dishes (essential for big properties and tree clearance, never 60cm), SANS-approved foam-filled black coax for long runs, Smart LNBs pre-tested for Extra View / Unicable splitters, 38mm galvanised heavy-duty brackets and 3m pole mounts to clear mature trees, proper earth bonding and waterproofing. We do face-brick rawlbolt fixings without cracking bricks and balance levels for 40m+ cable runs across Birchleigh gardens.

Common DSTV Issues in Birchleigh
Birchleigh is one of the largest Kempton suburbs — big stands bring big DSTV challenges. Here are the issues we see most often in Birchleigh — and how we fix them on site.
Mature Tree Signal Block
70% of Birchleigh calls are 25-year-old oak, plane and jacaranda trees growing into Intelsat 20. Big gardens = dish buried behind foliage. We use 3m pole mounts, high-cut positions on face-brick walls, and high-gain LNBs.
✔ Fixed same-day in Birchleigh
Old Rusty Brackets & 60cm Dishes
Birchleigh face-brick homes still have original 60cm dishes from early 2000s — undersized for long coax runs and rusted L-brackets. Highveld airport wind shifts them. We replace with 80cm high-gain + 38mm galvanised brackets.
✔ Fixed same-day in Birchleigh
Complex & Estate Restrictions
Birchleigh estates and complexes off Elgin & Maroelana, plus face-brick sectional titles, require non-drill or approved drilling. We use non-penetrating mounts, WhatsApp HOA approval, and work around shared roof space.
✔ Fixed same-day in Birchleigh

Real questions from Birchleigh homeowners. Flat rates, no call-out surprises. Birchleigh large stands specialist.
My Birchleigh decoder shows E48 — can you fix it today? ▼
Yes — in Birchleigh E48-32 is usually cracked white RG6 on long garden runs or a 60cm dish shifted by Highveld wind behind mature trees. We carry SANS-approved black coax, waterproof F-cons, 80cm high-gain dishes, Smart LNBs. Typical fix 45 mins on site, meter-locked to 94%/87% — flat rate quoted before we arrive.
Can you fix DSTV signal loss in Birchleigh after a storm? ▼
Absolutely. Birchleigh’s big gardens and face-brick homes get hammered after Highveld thunderstorms — water in 30m+ coax, rusted brackets, dish nudged behind oak trees. We realign with Promax HD Ranger to Intelsat 20 @ 68.5°E, replace with 80cm dish and 38mm galvanised bracket, re-do SANS coax, waterproof, earth bond. Same-day in Birchleigh, 5 mins from Kempton Park Central.
Do you work in Birchleigh estates and sectional-titles? ▼
Yes — Birchleigh complexes off Elgin, Maroelana and around Birchleigh North are our daily route. Non-penetrating mounts where drilling banned on face-brick, WhatsApp HOA approval within 30 mins, work around big garden access, weekend bans and shared roof space. We understand long coax run rules for sectional titles.
What guarantee do you offer in Birchleigh? ▼
