Local DSTV Experts — Right Here in Pomona
Pomona isn’t a typical Kempton suburb — it’s smallholdings, industrial yards, open terrain and constant Highveld cross-wind. Large plots mean 50m+ cable runs from the boundary wall or high roof, exposed dishes that take full wind load with no wind-break, and old light-duty 60cm dishes that flex, rust and lose Intelsat 20 lock. Industrial units add vibration and power-surge risk.
Our team is based 9 mins away in Kempton Park Central, not in Johannesburg. That means we’re in Pomona for real call-outs, with a bakkie stocked for the suburb: 80cm high-gain DSTV-approved dishes (not the undersized 60cm), SANS-approved foam-filled coax for 50m+ long runs, Smart LNBs pre-tested for Extra View and complex splitters, 38mm heavy-duty galvanised brackets and 3m pole mounts for open terrain high-wind areas, proper earth bonding and waterproofing. Flat rate quoted on WhatsApp before we arrive.

Common DSTV Issues in Pomona
Every suburb has its own DSTV character. Here are the issues we see most often in Pomona — open terrain, high wind, long runs and industrial — and how we fix them on site.
Mature Tree Signal Block
Pomona plots have fewer dense trees but boundary windbreaks and new industrial builds block Intelsat 20. We use 3m heavy-duty pole mounts, high-gain LNBs and open-terrain line-of-sight planning to clear it.
✔ Fixed same-day in Pomona
Old Rusty Brackets & 60cm Dishes
Many Pomona smallholdings still have original 60cm rusted dishes on light 25mm brackets that flex in Highveld wind. We replace with SANS 1010 80cm dishes, new 38mm galvanised heavy-duty wall brackets, SANS coax and proper earth bonding.
✔ Fixed same-day in Pomona
Complex & Estate Restrictions
Pomona industrial parks and smallholding complexes require non-drill and heavy-duty solutions. We use non-penetrating mounts, cage mounts for factories and WhatsApp group approval so you don’t chase the manager.
✔ Fixed same-day in Pomona

DSTV FAQ — Pomona
Real questions from Pomona homeowners and industrial tenants. Flat rates, no call-out surprises.
My Pomona decoder shows E48 — can you fix it today? ▼
Yes — in Pomona it’s usually Highveld wind shifting a light bracket, or cracked SANS coax over a 40-60m run. We carry SANS-approved foam-filled coax, waterproof F-cons, heavy-duty 38mm brackets and 80cm high-gain dishes. 45 mins on site, 90%+ locked, cleared same day.
Can you fix DSTV signal loss in Pomona after a storm? ▼
Absolutely. Pomona open terrain and smallholdings get hammered by wind — light poles flex, dishes go out of alignment, water gets into cheap coax. We realign with a digital HD meter to Strength 94% / Quality 87%, replace with SANS coax and earth-bonded heavy-duty brackets built for Highveld wind.
Do you work in Pomona smallholdings and industrial estates? ▼
Yes — we work daily in Pomona smallholdings, industrial parks and business estates. For industrial we use cage mounts, non-penetrating mounts, factory roof access where allowed, and WhatsApp approval for the estate manager. Same flat rate, same-day slots, no extra fee.
What guarantee do you offer in Pomona? ▼
12 months workmanship + parts, SANS 10142 compliant, insured, DSTV-approved hardware only. Pomona has extreme wind, so we specifically guarantee heavy-duty brackets and alignment — if signal drops due to our work, we return free and re-lock to 90%+.
